As China＇ s urban metro transport has stepped into a high-speed development stage, the metro platform screen doors has become an important sub-system of the electromechanical equipment branch in the modern underground engineering, featured with the advantages of energy conservation, safety, envfronmentaf friendliness and cost-effectiveness. Combined with the practice of quality control （QC） for the screen doors installation engineering in Shanghai No.4, No.6 and No.8 metro lines, this article expounded and summarized the effective QC approaches in the screen doors installation engineering, and discussed seriously the approaches for further enhancing the quality of the metro platform screen doors installation engineering.
