Discussion on the Tendency of Neo-vernacularism in Landscape Design Combined with the Courtyard design in New Suzhou Museum

"新乡土建筑"是抵御建筑"国际化"多元建筑思潮中的重要一支。"批判的地域主义"则是理论界对其的响应。在此背景之下,景观设计可能会自觉或不自觉的带有"新乡土倾向"。该文试结合苏州博物馆新馆庭院景观设计对其进行初步探讨。

＂Neo-vernacular Architecture＂ is an important branch of multiple architecture thoughts that resist architectural internationalization. Critical Regionalism is the response of theory circle to it. Under this background, landscape design may have ＂Nea- vernacularism Tendency＂ consciously or unconsciously. This paper tries to take a preliminary discussion on the thought, basing on the landscape design of the courtyard in New Suzhou Museum.
