摘要
网络环境对自愈性能的影响是十分重要的。本文分析了ATM自愈网中VP带宽规模对自愈性能的影响以及对网处理负担、VPI资源的影响。只要适当选取VP带宽规模,VP层和VC层的恢复率将尽可能高,同时VPI资源消耗、网处理负担以及恢复时间、恢复消息数目都有所增加,但若采用高速DCS和高效自愈算法,恢复时间和恢复消息数的增加都可以受到限制。
Network enviroment is an important factor to self healing performance. This approach presents an analysis of the effect of VP bandwidth dimension on self healing perforance as well as on network processing and VPI resouce. Properly determined VP bandwidth dimension, combined with high speed DCS and efficient self healing algorithm, will result in as high restoration ratio as possible in VP/VC layer, at the cost of a limited increment of restoration time, restoration message number, network processing burden and VPI resource expend.
