From Political Participation to Resettlement Participation:A Study on the Expansion of the Concept of Participation

研究了参与理念及相关实践在政治与公共政策、项目决策的社会评价、工程移民等领域的影响情况。随着社会经济的发展,参与的影响领域也在不断扩展,影响领域的扩展也为它自己带来了改变,即参与的含义越来越宽泛。同时,这种扩展也表现为一个从一般到具体的过程,因此,移民参与问题涉及面广,是一个动态复杂的过程。

This paper discusses the influence of the concept of participation and related practice on politics and public policy, social assessment of project decision and project resettlement and so on. With the social and economical development, the scope of influence of participation has been expanded, which in turn has enriched the meaning of participation. Meanwhile, the expansion process of participation has gone through the general to the specific. Hence, resettlement participation is a complicated and dynamic process involving many dimensions.
