Because the GIS software platform and the CAD software platform have respective superiorities, how to integrate ArcGIS and AutoCAD to realize the quick and effective indoor editing and data analysis of topographical database is one of the key issues. This paper mainly discussed the problems of the exchange between GIS data and CAD data.
