Experimental Investigation on Effects of Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma on Flow Field in the Wake of Circular Cylinder Cross Flow

摘要 利用二维粒子图像测速系统研究了低速风洞实验中介质阻挡放电等离子体对圆柱绕流尾迹区流场的影响。对圆柱尾迹区时均流场和瞬时流场的分析表明,在圆柱表面布置的两对等离子体激励器可在圆柱尾迹区形成射流,进而改变尾迹区的速度分布和涡量分布。 Two dimensional particle image velocimetry system is used to investigate effects of the dielectric barrier discharge plasma on the flow field in the wake of circular cylinder cross flow. Analysis of transient and time averaged flow field shows that plasma actuators placed in the surface of the circular cylinder can influence the flow field in circular cylinder cross flow by forming a jet at the wake, which may be used in its control.
