摘要
本文从组成构件、特点等方面介绍了第四代语言IDL，重点介绍了IDL适用于图像处理和分析的许多特性，并举例说明了IDL在图像工作上的应用。最后介绍了IDL5．0版的特点和基于IDL的ENVI软件。
In this article, the software IDL which is called the fourth generation computer language is introduced through its components and its characteristics. Many characteristics of the IDL make it an excellent workplatform for image processing and analyzing- An instance is given to show the application of the IDL in the work of image. Finally, the article illustrates the new characteristics of IDL(version 5. 0) and the IDL-Based sofware ENVI.
