摘要
商品化数据库管理系统往往不能有效地满足ＣＡＤ等工程应用的要求．本文根据作者成功开发的工程数据库管理系统ＣＩＭＳ／ＥＤＢＭＳ讨论在ＯＲＡＣＬＥ上采用语义网络模型，引入面向对象的概念和方法开发满足工程应用需要的数据库管理系统的原理和方法．
Commercial database management systems cannot afford the advanced applications such as CAD and so on. According to the engineering database management system CIMS/EDBMS developed by the authors, this paper discusses the principle and implementation of developing engineering database management systems based on ORACLE,by using semantic network model to introduce the object oriented notion and method.
