"没查没利"见于《西厢记》二本三折。明王伯良解曰:"方言无准绳也。"今学者王季思则认为"卖查梨"。其实,"没查没利"本是北方方言,今仍保留在北方个别地区,当是"没咋哩"(没怎么样呢)的意思。

The phrase 没查没利 （mei zha mei li） comes from Scene Ⅱ Act Ⅱ of the play Western Chamber. Wang Boliang in Ming Dynasty explained, ＂Dialect has no criterion at all.＂ Nowadays scholars such as Wang Jisi thinks that its meaning should be 卖查梨. In fact,没查没利 is a kind of dialect which is still kept in a certain northern district with the meaning of 没咋哩（mei za li, nothing serious）.
