On the Problems and Strategies of Teaching of College English Reading

中国对外开放以来,英语越来越显示它的重要性。随着时代的发展,社会及科技信息量迅猛增加,阅读在人们生活中的重要性与日俱增。然而,我国大学英语阅读教学的现状不容乐观。本文就影响英语阅读教学的几个重要因素进行分析,并对阅读中存在的一些不良习惯进行了探讨,在此基础上提出了几种提高英语阅读能力的方法,以便提高教学质量,养成良好阅读习惯。

After China open to the world, English is becoming more and more important. With the development of our society, we are in an era of information explosion. Reading, the convenient way to get the information, is very important in modern society. However, the present situation of teaching in college English reading is depressing. The paper analyzes several important factors affecting the teaching of English reading, then discusses some bad habits in reading and put forward some methods to improve teaching of reading speed in order to form a good habit of reading.
