重视理论学习,是我们党的优良传统,也是党对领导干部的一贯要求。党委中心组理论学习是领导干部在职学习的一种行之有效的重要形式,是提高领导干部素质的重要途径。当前,随着经济全球化和教育国际化的迅猛发展以及高等教育大众化阶段的到来,高校要想在激烈的竞争中立于不败之地,要想在建设创新型国家中有更大的作为,必须重视和加强各级领导干部的理论学习,探索理论学习的途径和方法,以提高领导干部的理论水平和决策水平。

Strengthening theoretical study is our party＇s excellent tradition, and also is the consistent requirements for leaders. Theoretical study of the party committee center group is the major kind of effective form for improving quality of party leaders. With the development of the economic globaliza- tion, educational internationalization, and the arrival of the popularization of China＇s higher education, in order to make universities invincible in the heated competition, it is necessary to strengthen theoretical study of leading cadres at all levels, explore the approaches and ways of studying, and enhance lead- ers＂ ability of decision-making.
