Total number of 252 implants made of titanium alloy coated with a suitablebioactive glass were applied in clinic from October, 1988 to July, 1994. The success rate is 90,47 %, 24 implants failed with failed rate of 9. 53%,The authors have also discussed the cruxesof success, causes of clinical failed, implantitis and complication of prosthesis, and given thenew conception of re-implanting
