我国当代知识分子公共性的衰弱及其重建

在中国社会发展和现代化进程中,知识分子完成了自我蜕变和成熟,对社会做出了巨大贡献。知识分子是社会的"眼睛",是公众的"代言人",这种公共性可以说是知识分子的"神"。但由于当今社会的转型和市场经济大潮的冲击,知识分子的公共性正在日趋衰弱,我们必须通过提高知识分子待遇、完善知识人才评价体制、倡导学术独立等重建知识分子的公共性。

In the process of social development and modernization of China, intellectuals completed theirs elf-tran sformation and maturation and have made great contributions to the society . Intellectuals are the eye of the society and the spokesman of the public. The publicity can be seen as the spirit of them. However, due to the fierce impact of market economy and the transition of current China, the publicity of intellectuals is declining. We must reconstruct it by increasing the pay of intellectuals, perfecting intellectual talents evaluation system and advoca- ting academic independence.
