摘要 一词兼有相反或相对义项的现象称为反义同词,在许多语言中均存在此现象。同词反义是在词义的延伸过程中形成的一个特例。认知语言学的意义观认为,语言来源于人类与客观世界的互动体验,对语义的描述离不开意象,每一个表达式都有一个伴随的意象构造其概念内容。本文基于Langacker的《认知语法》等相关论著,阐释、分析了影响不同意象形成的三个主要因素:选择、凸显与视角,并尝试探寻词义延伸过程中同词反义得以产生的认知理据。 Auto-antonyms are words that are the opposite of themselves, which can be viewed as a special sub-category of polysemy, Cognitive Linguistics suggests that language originates from human physical and social experiences functioning in the environment, and imagery is the representation formed in the brain by the conceptualization of things, Based on Langacker's monographs and theses concerning cognitive grammar, this paper analyzes and explicates three main factors which affect imagery: selection, salience and perspective, attempting to investigate the cognitive motivations of auto-antonymy in the process of semantic extensions.
