摘要
众所周知,外语课堂焦虑对于外语学习有着普遍的负面影响。本文从心理感知角度出发,通过FLCAS问卷和小组访谈,对一所理工类大学低水平外语学习者的外语课堂焦虑进行调查。其结果表明低水平外语学习者感受到的焦虑水平高于普通学生,但和低水平外语学习者的学习成绩并不呈显著的负相关关系。同时,本文阐述了焦虑的具体表现,分析了引发焦虑的原因。
It is widely acknowledged that foreign language anxiety has a damaging effect on second language learning. The study investigates perception of low-achieving learners' foreign language anxiety in classroom by means of FLCAS questionnaire and team interview. It turns out that low-achieving learners' anxiety level is higher than that of average learners, but it isn't negatively relevant to their language proficiency. Meanwhile, the clinical symptoms and causes of foreign language anxiety are explored and two suggestions were made to help the instructors deal with the low-achieving learners with anxiety.
