2001年7月13日，北京申奥成功，世界选择了北京。历史和经验表明，奥运会的成功举办既需要齐备先进的硬件设施条件，良好的法律和政策环境亦必不可少。“法治奥运”是办好有中国特色的高水平的奥运会的重要保障。
On July 13, 2001, Beijing got success in biding for the 29^th Olympic Games, and the world chooses Beijing. Historical experience shows that to hold a successful Olympic Games, complete and advanced hardware and equipments are necessary, moreover, favorable environment of laws and policies are by any means inevitable. The concept of＂Olympics under rule of law＂ is an important guarantee for a successful high level Olympic Games with Chinese characteristics.
