Application of personal digital assistant in promoting clinical nursing quality

目的进一步探讨PDA在临床护理实践中的应用,使其为提高临床护理工作质量带来创新与变革。方法将PDA技术应用于临床护理实践,使信息系统的触角延伸到病床旁,实现病人信息的动态采集,即时记录病人的病情变化。结果通过此项技术的应用,有效保证了护理安全,护理缺陷发生率由3.06%降至0.64%。护士用于表格书写的时间大大降低,服务于患者的时间较前更多,有利于建立良好的护患关系,病人满意率由95.4%提高到98.2%,激发了护士的工作积极性。结论PDA的应用有效提高了临床护理质量,有效推进医院信息化建设的进程。

Objective To discuss the application of personal digital assistant（PDA） in clinical nursing practice and value its effect of innovation and reformation in raising the quality of clinical nursing.Methods The technique of PDA was applied to the clinical nursing practice in order to monitor and collect the patients＇ information even at the bedside and at any time.Results With this technique application,the security of nursing was ensured effectively and the incident of nursing defects decreases from 3.06% to 0.64%.The time of the nurse spending in writing records was saved and more time was used for the patient which was benefit for constructing the good relationship of nurse-patient.The patient＇s satisfaction rate increased from 95.4% to 98.2% and the work enthusiasm of the nurse was provoked.Conclusions Application of PDA elevates the quality of clinical nursing and impel effectively the course of information construction in the hospital.
