On the Ethical Thought of Mencius’ Legislation

本文在客观叙述孟子的立法目的以及仁爱、亲亲等立法原则的基础上,力求准确评价孟子的法律伦理思想对中国法律文化发展的影响,阐发其对现代法律文化建设的价值。

On the basis of objectively narrating the goal of Mencius＇ legislation as well as his legislative principles, such as benevolence, filial affection for parents, etc., the article makes efforts to accurately appraise the influence of legal and ethical thought of Mencius upon the development of Chinese law culture and to explain its value for the construction of modem law culture.
