A Race We Can All Win

过去20年中国的经济改革极其吸引人，但却不甚为人了解。许多美国政治家迎合选民在经济方面的不安全感，把中国当替罪羊，暗示中国是我们很多问题的根源，威胁我们的繁荣。但根据我在私营企业工作35年和管理美国最大城市6年的经验，我认为中国对美国不是威胁，而是机会．一个极好的机会。

China＇s economic transformation over the past two decades is a fascinating, but still poorly under-stood, story. Many American politicians have played to voters＇ economic insecurities by scapegoating China, suggesting that the Chinese are the source of our problems and a threat to our prosperity. But based on my 35 years of experience in the private sector, and six years running the nation＇s largest city, I believe that China is not a threat to America, but an opportunity. An incredible opportunity.
