The rise of China and India＇s economy has been in two different ways. China has gradually estab-lished itself as the “world factory”, while India is moving forward to be the “world office”. Both of the two development modes have the same problem of sustenance although China and India have achieved the glorious economic rise during the past 20 years. The “world factory” mode of China is constrained more and more by the resources and environment, while the “world office” mode of India is also unsustainable as a kind of economic development without employment increasing.
