摘要
我国翻译界在长期的翻译实践中积累了一些翻译英语长句的规则与技巧,本文依据认知语言学的基本观点来探讨这些规则与技巧的可取性和灵活性,为翻译实践提出理论根据,并为我国的翻译理论提出一点看法。
In the Chinese translation circle some rules or techniques have been formed through practice in treating the English long sentences. Based on the cognitive view, the present paper will discuss the workability and flexibility of those rules and techniques, so as to put forth their theoretic evidences. In the paper, the author also makes a suggestion of how to improve the translation studies in China.
