论医古文比喻修辞格的翻译

Studies on the Translation of the Figures of Speech of the Ancient Medical Chinese

本文探讨由于英汉语言的文化差异,翻译医古文比喻修辞格,译者应根据中医翻译的基本原则进行恰当的表达。本文主要介绍三种翻译医古文比喻修辞格的方法。笔者认为译文在内容上和语言特点上对原文的翻译做到"信达雅",还需要译者具有语言学知识和翻译理论知识,钻研和掌握中医基础理论,不断提高中医英语翻译水平。

This article discusses that the interpreters should translate the figures of speech of the ancient medical Chinese into English appropriately according to the basic translating principles of TCM due to the cultural differences between English and Chinese. This article mainly introduces three translating approaches of the figures of speech of the ancient medical Chinese. The present author thinks that it is necessary for the interpreters to have the knowledge of linguistics and translation theories ,study intensively and grasp the basic theories of TCM, and constantly improve the translating level of TCM English so that the translating versions achieve ＂Faithfulness, Expressiveness and Elegance＂ of the original texts in terms of the contents and language features.
