工程哲学作为一门新兴学科已经在中国初步形成,并不断健康地向前发展。工程是人类利用自然、改造自然的实践过程。要实现工程目标,就要处理好工程对象和工程过程中的各种矛盾关系。工程哲学必须从以往的工程实践中来,并应用到未来的工程实践中去。工程哲学的研究和发展应当在科学发展观的指导下,成为促进工程科技创新和工程建设、实现科学发展的锐利思想武器。工程哲学要从工程实践中汲取营养,并为工程实践服务:工程实践孕育和发展了工程哲学;工程实践不断为工程哲学提出新的命题;工程哲学要加强学科建设,指导工程实践。

Engineering Philosophy as a new discipline has arisen in China, and is making progress in a healthy way. Engineering is a practice process for human beings using and re--modeling the nature. To realize engineering goals needs to aim at the engineering target and-deal with the various conflicts in that process. Engineering philosophy must be produced from the past and applied to the future engineering practices. The study and development of engineering philosophy should be oriented with the scientific development view, and be the sharp ideological weapon for promoting engineering technology innovation and engineering construction so as to realize a scientific development.
