In the Image faction, Pound as the head, is a very important modem poetry school in Europe and America in the 20^th century. This school has a very close and complicated relation with the Chinese poetry. This article discusses the interactive influence and the close relation between Pond＇s image school and the Chinese poetry from the perspective of the Chinese ancient poetry＇s influence on the image school and the image school＇s influence on the Chinese new poety.
