摘要
面对经济不景气、人民负担重、就业率低等社会和经济问题，韩国新一届总统李明博提出了举办全体国民拥护和满意的教育改革设想，具体措施包括：提升公共教育质量；提高英语教学水平，减轻教育经费负担；保障大学自主办学。对此，韩国国民褒贬不一，但一致的观点是，为推行国民满意的教育改革，必须充分尊重、统一公民和社会各界的意见。
In order to solve the problems of depressing economy, heavy load of citizens and low employment rate, the new president Li Mingbo brought forward the reform objective of developing satisfactory education for all material measures include： enhancing the quality of public education; increasing English teaching level and decreasing citizens＇ load of education fund; ensuring the independent school-running of higher education institution. Korean citizens evaluate differently to these reform and development projects, but they all agree that, in order to boost satisfactory education reform, the government must respect and unify the suggestions of citizens from various social fields.
