Discussion of countermeasures on TCM adverse reaction

目前,中药不良反应的报道逐渐增多,特别是多起严重不良反应和急性死亡病例的报道,使得中药的安全性问题备受关注。现从中药安全性现状、导致不良反应增多的原因、应对措施和存在问题等方面进行分析,探讨提高中药安全性研究的方法和措施。

For thousand of years, Chinese medicine has being contributed for preventing and treating diseases of Chinese people. But from last century 90s till today, there were more and more reports on adverse reaction of Chinese medicine and herb, and many of these cases resulted in severe side-effect and acute death. The safety us- age of Chinese medicine and herb is crucially hindering the development of Chinese medicine. This article discuss the methods and measures which should be taken in studying the safety use of herbs through analyzing the current situation of using Chinese medicine, the causes of rising up in adverse reaction cases, problems in solving these cases and many disadvantages.
