摘要
本文通过对叶芝的长篇叙事诗《乌辛漫游记》的分析,着重探讨了叶芝是如何利用爱尔兰古代神话以及"讲述故事"唤起民族的集体记忆从而重建本民族历史的。指出在后殖民语境下,对神话和民间传说的重写帮助殖民地国家人民恢复了民族的集体记忆并重新建构了本民族的历史,成功地瓦解了殖民话语。
On the analysis of The Wanderings of Oisin, which was written by Yeats, the thesis explores Yeats＇ s use of Irish myth and how he revives the collective memory of Irish people. It points out that the rewriting of myth and legend helps the Irish recover their memory and reconstruct the history of the nation in postcolonial context.
