汉字的摒弃与遵从——以芭蕉《古池》为例谈和歌的汉译

Dismiss or Follow Chinese Characters——take Basyou's Old pond for example to discuss how to translate tanka poetry into Chinese

和歌汉译一直是翻译界的一个难题,如何翻译和歌,不同学者有不同的观点。笔者认为文学作品的"神"是最重要的,因此翻译的时候要先破除本国文字对诗歌理解的障碍,先深入地领会和歌;具体落笔的时候,又要遵从汉字以及中国诗词的一些特点,以期使和歌更能被中国读者所理解。

To translate tanka poetry into Chinese is always a problem difficult to deal with. Scholars have different opinions about it. The author thinks that the verve of literature is the most important thing, so we should dismiss the interference of mother tongue first in order to understand the tanka poetry deeply. But when transla-ting, we＇ d better follow the characteristics of chinese characters and chinese poesies, so that Chinese readers may understand better.
