摘要
地理信息系统的普及、广泛应用必将成为21世纪的一个重要特征。MapObject是ESRI公司的组件式地理信息系统软件,通过比较MapObject中各种地图符号绘制方法的优缺点,提出一种基于统一地图符号结构的自定义符号块的方法,并对GIS中地图符号绘制的发展予以展望。
The popularization and wide use of GIS （Geographic Information System） should became an important character of 21 century. MapObject is a ComGIS soft of ESRI company. A method is proposed to Custom Symbol block based on general map symbol witch come from the compare of drawing symbol in the soft of MapObject. The developing prospect of drawing technology of symbol in GIS is outlooked.
