There is great risk in mineral properties valuation. The risk evaluation of mineral properties valuation can make grantee know the effects of uncertain factors on the assessment value of mineral properties, understand the possible risks of investment in development of mineral resources and the contributions of various uncertain factors to the assessment value of mineral properties, thus estimate whether some mineral project has investment value or not. Taking risk evaluation of mining rights valuation as an example, this paper summarizes the risk sources of assessment value of mineral properties, and systematically studies some methods for assessing the risks of mineral properties valuation.
