Independent College, as a kind of new-born educational institution, has been faced with both opportunities and challenges in its construction of campus culture. This paper attempts to illustrate the necessity of innovation for the development of independent college in that only by constant innovation can distinctive campus culture be cultivated and transmitted. A core campus culture focusing on the construction of brand, practice, teaching moral and appreciation will be one indispensable drive for the sustainable development of independent college.
