An Approach on the Forming Mechanism of Square Cups

摘要 通过对盒形件成形机理的分析指出:盒形件变形时,变形区圆角处与直边处的金属由于位移速度不同而诱发的剪应力能降低圆角处传力区的轴向拉应力;由于变形区直边处产生拉深变形,使圆角处变形区的变形抗力得到降低。从而揭示了盒形件成形极限高于筒形件的原因,并由试验得到验证。 Through analysing the forming mechnism of Square cups.it is shown that when a Square cup is formed, the displacement-Velocity in the corner forming region is different from that in the side region. So that the induced shear stress can reduce the axial-tenside-stress in the corner forming region. As a result of the drawing produced in the Side forming region, the forming force in the corner of forming region is reduced. Thereby. the cause is reyealed why the forming limit in a square cup is higher than that in a round cup. which is verified in the experiment.
