从数字化城市规划方法的概念入手,应用SWOTs态势分析法,分析数字技术在城市规划编制与管理中的内容与优势,剖析GIS技术在城市规划领域应用的问题和局限性,并结合信息社会和数字城市的特点,分析了数字化为城市规划带来的历史性机遇,最后,结合我国城市规划领域的实际情况,表明了数字化城市规划面临的巨大挑战.

From the concept of digital urban planning method, using the SWOTs state methodology, the con tents and strengths that digital technique used in urban planning drawing up are analyzed; and the weaknesses and limitations that GIS technique used in urban planning are also analyzed. Combined the characteristics of in formation society and digital city, the historic opportunity for urban planning brought by the digital technique is analyzed briefly. At last, combined the practical conditions of China＇s urban planning field, the huge challenge that the digital urban planning is facing with, is expressed.
