集聚经济在中国地区增长的作用--基于规模报酬的分析

The Role of Agglomeration Economies in China's Regional Growth——An Analysis Based on Returns to Scale

本文以规模报酬递增为基础构建了一个包含集聚经济的生产函数,分析了城市化和市场化对中国各地区集聚经济效应的影响。基于1978-2004年的省级地区数据,本文发现中国各地区集聚经济效应显著;集聚经济效应在地区经济增长中作用明显;市场化和城市化对资本和劳动力效率具有不同影响。

Based on increasing returns to scale, this article analyzes the role of agglomeration economies in China＇ s regional growth with the aggregate production function. The estimation results show that the agglomeration effect is strong. It is also found that the agglomeration effects of regions are influenced greatly by the differences of urbanization level and transform progress of the economic institution.
