论隋唐洛阳城的池沼

On Ponds in Luo Yang in Sui and Tang Dynasties

隋唐东都洛阳城周围有伊、洛、瀍、涧四条自然河流,城内河渠成网,这些成为洛阳城池沼发展的基础。根据文献资料,共考证出34处池沼,其中宫苑中13处,外郭城内21处,而且从池沼的分布、面积、水源等方面探讨了当时洛阳城池沼的特点。

The four rivers of Yi, Luo, Chan and Jian around Luo Yang city as well as interconnected rivers and ditches within the city lay good foundation for development of large ponds in Luo Yang city in Sui and Tang Dynasties. Studies on the historical documents about the thirty- four large ponds in Luo Yang city indicate their characteristics in respects of distribution, size, headwaters, etc.
