摘要
Radarsat-2是加拿大继Radarsat-1之后的新一代商用合成孔径雷达(SAR)卫星,它在继承Radarsat-1原有成像模式和技术特点的基础上,进行了较大范围的技术革新。总结了Radarsat-2的系统组成和性能参数,并重点分析了其包括超精细分辨率成像、全极化成像、左右视成像等在内的技术革新和技术实现。Radarsat-2作为当前十分先进的星载SAR系统,为未来星载SAR的发展指明了方向。
Radarsat-2 is Canada's next-generation commercial SAR satellite, followed and based on Radarsat-1. Radarsat-2 has been designed with significant and powerful technical advancements which include quadpolarization imaging mode, ultra-fine imaging mode, left and right-looking imaging options and so on. The system constitution and performance parameters are summarized and most of these technical advancements and implements are analyzed. As an advanced spaceborne SAR system,Radarsat-2 shows the development orientation of the future spaceborne SAR.
