对百年来研红名家及其代表性著作进行了系统梳理与阐释,认为百年《红楼梦》小说批评接受研究应分两条线进行:一条是对学者即红学家的《红楼梦》研究的认识与评价;一条是对作家或作家兼红学家的《红楼梦》研究的认识与评价。这两条线共同构成了百年《红楼梦》研究史即《红楼梦》小说批评接受史的主体部分。

A systematic sorting and interpretation are made of experts at A Dream of Red Mansions for the past hundred years. It is thought that research into the receptive criticism of A Dream of Red Mansions should follow two routes. One is the scholars＇ recognition and evaluation of studies made by experts at A Dream of Red Man- sions. And the other is the scholars＇ recognition and evaluation of studies made by writers or writers and experts at A Dream of Red Mansions. The two routes jointly make up the history of research into A Dream of Red Mansions in the past hundred years, namely, the principal part of the history of A Dream of Red Mansions being accepted in terms of literary criticism.
