中西方诚信文化特质之比较探究

Comparing the Features of Credit between Chinese & Western Culture

中国传统诚信思想具有人格性、情感性和义务性等特质,而西方诚信则以理性为依据、契约为表征和法律为基础。中国传统诚信文化与西方契约诚信文化存在着有限性与开放性、等级性与平等性、自律性与强制性等方面的差异。在社会主义市场经济条件下,我们应该实现中西诚信文化的互动与整合,建立一种能适应社会主义市场经济发展要求的现代诚信文化。

The credit of Chinese tradition has its own features in personality, emotion and duty. Yet credit in western countries is based on rationality, contract and law. The cultural difference between China and Western countries lies in the limitation and openness, the grade and equality, the self-control and coercion. Under socialist market economy, we should put the Chinese credit culture and Western credit culture in conformity and build a modern Chinesc credit culture so as to be adapted to the development of socialist market economy.
