根据"曲率效应",预言伽马暴随动谱中高能端的一根发射线可以形成观测谱中的一个翘起的高能尾。这解释了为什么从来没有在伽马暴中观测到窄发射线。翘尾的峰是洛仑兹因子的线性函数。这表明,当该发射线被证认时,翘尾峰可成为火球膨胀速度的指示器。
Due to the so-called curvature effect of expanding fireballs, it is predicted that an emission line existing within the higher energy range of the rest frame spectrum of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) will form an uprising tip in the high energy tail of the observational spectrum. The analysis naturally explains why there are no narrow emission lines being detected in the high energy tail of GRBs. The peak of the uprising tip in the high energy tail, E,ip, is a linear function of the Lorentz factor Г, approximately following Etip =2FEline when Г is large enough, where Eline is the emission line concerned. It suggests that Etip might serve as an indicator of the expansion speed of fireballs when the corresponding emission line is identified.
