ZhangJiuling had clear and mature literary ideas which included three major points： true and natural expression of feelings ; simple style and systematic thoughts with ya and song as the nucleus. Among these, the third was the clearest and most important, it contained three closely -related approaches： vast reading, espousal of wang and ba , and majestic writing.
