垂体肿瘤转化基因(PTTG)是一个新近从垂体瘤组织中分离到的原癌基因。目前研究发现PTTG在许多肿瘤组织内高表达,是一种强肿瘤转化基因,可通过多种机制参与肿瘤的发生发展,并受多种因子的调控,对体外细胞转化及体内肿瘤形成有重要作用。

Pituitary tumor-transforming gene （PTTG） is a proto-oncogene separated from pituitary tumor tissue recently. PTTG is overexpressed in many tumors and is a strong tumor transforming gene.PTTG plays a role in tumor development and progression through various mechanisms and is regulated by several factors. PTTG is a key factor in cell transformation in vitro and tumor formation in vivo.
