长期以来,高校贫困生资助工作在资助体制、资助评审体系、奖学金助贫、勤工助学实际效果、国家助学贷款运作机制等方面存在一定问题,严重影响了国家贫困生资助政策的贯彻落实。为了切实解决当前贫困生资助工作中存在的问题,应该通过不断加强教育、改革现行资助体系、采取积极的政策性措施、建立健全贫困生认定指标体系、加强勤工助学工作指导、积极开展"创业扶贫"活动等对策,不断提高资助工作的育人功能,不断完善助学贷款的运行机制,逐步确立"合理收费+以贷款为主"的助学体制,真正把贫困生资助工作的各项政策落到实处。
