With the rapid development of the international communication and cooperation on all kinds of fields in China, there has been an increasing demand for high level professional talents with English speaking and listening proficiency. This article provides a teaching method that focus on listening and speaking. It first analyzes the causes and importance of focusing on listening and speaking, then provides skills for improving students＇ listening and speaking ability.
