Lifelong learning has been become an increasing popularity slogan in the field of EU educational policy. This article reviews how lifelong learning has emerged as the central strategy in EU education and training policy, then examines the use of the lifelong learning policy in EU contexts, lastly analyses its enlightenment for our country to estabish learning society.
