和谐城市是和谐社会在城市治理中的具体体现和理想结果。法治在和谐城市的构建中起着关键性作用。从法治理论看,构建和谐城市,需要贯彻社会主义法治理念、坚持并完善依法治市原则,坚持以人为本原则,遵循法律调整的谦抑性规律,充分发挥社会自治的功能。当前,建立有效的利益冲突协调机制,运用授权性法律调整方法,创新法律实施机制,完善保护城市弱势群体制度是和谐城市法治构建的现实路径。

A harmonious city is the concrete embodiment and the ideal result of a harmonious society in management of city.Governing a society by law plays a key role in building a harmonious city.As far as the theory of governing a society by law is concerned,it requires materializing the concept of governing a society by law, adhering to and perfecting the principles of governing a city by law, sticking to the principles of human-oriented, abiding by modestly restraining spirit principle of law adjustment and making full use of function of social self- governance to build a harmonious city.The measures to realize a harmonious city by governance of law are establishing effective conciliation mechanism of interest contradiction ,innovating implementation mechanism of law by means of authorization adjustment and perfecting protection system of those who are economically and politically marginalized.
