木材的肌理特征作为一个基本的外观因素在木家具产品设计中发挥着极其重要的作用。本文概括了肌理及木材肌理的定义,阐述了木材肌理与纹理、花纹、质感、材色几个词语的概念,分析了木材的肌理特征在家具产品造型形态设计中的几方面影响,并提出了对木材肌理进行挖掘和运用的几个方法,从而为木材肌理在木家具产品中的充分表现提供了依据。

As a basic apparent element, the wood texture plays an important role in wooden furniture design. This article summarizes the definition of texture and wood texture, elaborates the conception of the wood texture, the wood grain, the wood vein, the sense of material, the wood color. The paper also analyzes several effect of wood texture characteristic in furniture modeling form design, proposes several methods of excavation and utilization on wood texture characteristic, then provides the reference basis for the performance of wood texture in the furniture product.
