Basic Principles and Operating Methods of Chinese Grammar Teaching

对外汉语语法教学应该根据特殊的学习对象及其需要,根据汉语独有的区分世界的范畴及其语言特点,根据第二语言习得的一般规律,确定教学体系、教学内容和方法策略。本文阐述了对外汉语语法教学的对象特点和应该遵循的八项基本原则,同时简要介绍了各项原则的基本操作方法。

Teaching Chinese grammar to foreigners should be base on different learners＇ particular requirements, the unique way of dividing the world into different categories in Chinese, and the general rules of second language acquisition as well, to determine teaching system, teaching content, and teaching methodologies. This article analyses Chinese learners＇ characteristics and the basic principles should be followed in Chinese grammar teaching, namely principle of practicality, principle of aim, principle of promoting successively and repeatedly, principle of elaboration, principle of simplification, principle of analogy, principle of explanation, and principle of drill. Moreover, it also briefly illustrates the basic operating methods for each principle with examples.
