Study of the "NP+de+VP" Structure:A Constructional Approach

本文回顾了以往对"NP+的+VP"结构的研究,用构式语法理论对这种结构进行了新的解释,认为该结构属于"X的Y"构式,整体上的名词性、VP的名词性和内部成分的偏正关系皆由该构式的结构义赋予。最后本文提出了一个与"X的Y"构式相关的"指示词+X"构式,并用这两个构式分析了"NP+的+VP"结构的一种扩展形式"NP+的+指示词+VP"结构,取得了满意的结果。

After making a review on the previous studies on the ＂NP ＋ de （的） ＋ VP＂ structure in Mandarin Chinese and pointing out their limitations, this paper gives a new understanding of the structure based on the Construction Grammar, and then, presents the advantages of this approach on this issue, which make it more preferable. The author argues that the ＂NP ＋ de （ 的 ） ＋ VP＂ structure belongs to a construction called ＂X de（的） Y＂, by which the nominality of the structure and the VP, and the relationship between the NP and the VP are all assigned. Then, a related construction called ＂demonstrative ＋ X＂ is postulated, and the ＂NP ＋ de （ 的） ＋ demonstrative ＋ VP＂ structure, an extended form of the ＂NP ＋ de （ 的 ） ＋ VP＂ structure is analyzed, using the two constructions postulated, satisfyingly.
