摘要
民国时期,西方基督教会在中国创办了许多教会大学,这些大学为了生存和发展,成功地进行了由宣扬基督教到教育为本的角色转型。它们在办学过程中逐渐形成了一些自己的特色,在推进我国教育近代化的过程中做出了不可磨灭的贡献。
During the period of Republic of China, church universities established by western Christian church, in order to survive and develop, successfully carried out transformation from the propagation of Christianity to education. They had gradually formed their own characteristics in the school-running process and made the indelible contribution in the process of advancing our country to modem education.
