Su Shi put forward a very important view on calligraphic art. This paper makes a tentative study of the view to offer some theoretical ideas for calligraphic creation. The writer focuses on the key points of Su Ski＇ s view and also makes an analysis of his calligraphic works in order to find out Some correspondence between Su Ski＇ s views and his own calligraphic works.
